How to Setup Google Analytics 4 on Shopify

Google Analytics is a powerful tool for conversion optimization and marketing process. In this article I’ll show you how to install Google Analytics to your Shopify store in just 1 minute.

1. Create your Google Analytics account.
   Visit https://analytics.google.com and click on Admin icon.

   

   Then click on Create button and click on Create Account

   

   Then your setup process begin. Google ask a few details about your store. Just fill the forms.
   In the last step, it’ll ask data collection settings. Choose web.

   

   Type your store URL and click the button.

   

2. Now you can go to Google Shopify app. Click on the Install button, it’ll redirect you to app install page. In this page you need to click on “Add sales channel” button.

   

3. Start setting up your Google sales channel by connecting your Google account. Click on the button and give permission for the email. It should be the same email with your Google Analytics Account.
   
4. Then you’ll see Google Analytics 4 setup instructions. Click on “Get Started” button.
   
5. Then choose the account you created and click on the Connect button.
   

That’s it. Now you can check all of your data inside the Google Analytics.
